William Ellis III
William Warren “Bill” Ellis, III, 72, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at his home.
He was born January 23, 1941 in Darby, Pennsylvania, a son of the late William Warren Jr. and Anna Dorothy (Strawley) Ellis.
He is survived by daughters, Barbara Kelbaugh of Maryland, and Kelly Ellis of Delaware; sons, Warren Ellis of Bellefontaine, and Bill Ellis of Maryland; six grandchildren and his former spouse, Diane Ellis James. He was the eldest of nine children where most of them resided in the Philadelphia area.
He was a sales director with Maguire Products in Aston, Pennsylvania, where he retired in 2007.
A United States Navy Veteran where he served as an a Air Traffic Controller, he was a well-liked man in the community where he walked eight miles a day.
His body was cremated and there are no services are planned at this time.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
