William "Bill" John Pletcher

Bill (William) John Pletcher, age 75, of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Lima Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.

He was born in Columbus on September 7, 1951, a son of the late William and Jennie Kamera Pletcher.

Survivors include a daughter, Jill (Matt) Titus of West Liberty; two sisters: Jeanne (Rick) Bahan of West Liberty and Susan (John) Szakacs of North Royalton; eight grandchildren: Carter Titus, Cooper Titus, Mia Titus, Malachi Titus, Ellie Titus, Gracie Titus, Casen Titus, and Lily Titus; and a niece and nephews.

Bill was a loving and dedicated father and later a devoted grandfather to 8 grandchildren and numerous other children who had him as a grandpa while they were with the family in foster care. He worked at Honda of America for 30 years before retiring. He spent his first years of retirement happy and healthy, spending time with his grandchildren and following along with their endeavors. He was a loyal and proud fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State. He will be deeply missed by the grandchildren and family he loves so much.
