Vilda Jane Geeslin

Vilda Jane Geeslin, 94, of Rushsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. She was born on March 23, 1932, in Wilmington, Ohio, to the late Leon K. and Lova E. (Schroyer) Clingerman.

On November 17, 1952, she married Leslie H. Geeslin, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2015. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, John David Geeslin and her brothers: Ken, Jim, Ed, Bob, and Clete Clingerman

She is survived by her daughter, Jayma (Marty) Burkhammer; son, David (Janet) Geeslin; grandchildren: Sharyn Burkhammer, Tracy (Jodi) Cunningham, and Chris Geeslin; and her great grandson, Nathan Cunningham.

Jane was a lover of nature whether she was bird watching or just enjoying the outdoors. She expressed her creativity through embroidery, always sharing the things she made to bring joy to others. Jane had a strong faith and loved her church family at Rushsylvania Church of Christ. She also found joy in paint by number, jigsaw puzzles and playing card and board games.

There will be a private graveside service held for Jane at Rushsylvania Cemetery.
