Victoria Mae Mortimore, 73, of Cincinnati, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 17, 2025, at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital, Montgomery, Ohio.
Victoria was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on June 5, 1952, to the late Orville Kenneth and Geraldine (Routt) Rogers. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Kenny Hamilton.
Victoria married James Mortimore on February 28, 1975, in Bellefontaine, and he survives in Cincinnati. She is also survived by daughters: Inez (J.W. Pittman) Mortimore of Bellefontaine, and Jennifer Hamilton of Cincinnati; a granddaughter Katherine Hamilton; a brother Kenneth “Bud” Rogers of Bellefontaine; and 2 nieces: Mandy Broom and Melissa Rogers.
Victoria enjoyed camping with the family, they were members of TravelAmerica and Resort Parks International. She and James were also members of Gold Wing Riders Association. Victoria liked to do her Christmas cards, and was known for her hugs. She loved cooking and baking for her family. Victoria was active in Girl Scouts when her daughters were younger.
Friends may call on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 11am – 1pm at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine, where Pastor Linda Dulin-Moore will officiate Victoria’s funeral service at 1pm. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
