Ty Lyn Ferguson

Ty L. Ferguson, 35, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 3:51 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born on June 2, 1987, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, a daughter of Dennis Michael Ferguson of Urbana and Tina Louise (Jackson) Ferguson of Bellefontaine.

Ty is survived by four siblings, Nick Navarre, Andromeda “Sissy” Navarre, Angelique “Angie” Ferguson, and Josette “JoJo” Ferguson; three uncles, Mark “Bubba” Jackson, Jimmy (Jenny) Ferguson, and Tony (Rachel) Ferguson; and her puppy “Lulu”. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ronald & Joyce Jackson; paternal grandparents, Chuck & Mary Ferguson; and two aunts, Teresa Ferguson, and Tammy Ferguson.

Ty had worked at RTC Industries in Bellefontaine and promoted self-advocacy. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and loved music. Ty was “kind of a big deal” in her community and touched many people throughout her life.

A celebration of Ty’s life will be held later.
