Twila J. Suber, 64, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 4:27 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on August 6, 1961, to the late Ernest H. and Carrie Mae (Jones) Carter.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Tim) England; grandchildren, Danjae Jean Arlise Blalark, Jalise Marthasia Finch, Rmeah Justine Finch, Nevaeh Arle Rene England, and Only grandson Jason Lamont England; sisters, Elaine (Lenord) Woods, Lena Peaks, Rhonda Carter, Christina (Rick) Williams, and Lorena (Joe) Brenner; brother, Earnie (Tammy) Carter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with her parents, Twila was preceded in death by her husband, Arle L. Suber in December or 2018; daughter, Shalita Nacole “Nikkie” Munz; sisters, Carolyn (Dick) Ladd, and Mary (Bruce) Wilson; brother, Gale (Alicia) Carter; and grandparents, Charles and Lena Vickers.
Twila was a woman full of love and laughter. She was kind, nurturing, strong, and blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. Her smile was contagious and could brighten any room she entered.
A devoted woman of God, Twila's faith in the Lord was unwavering throughout her life. She was a proud member of Auburn Avenue Baptist Church, where she found strength, purpose, and community.
For many years, Twila dedicated herself to her family as a homemaker, pouring love into every moment she shared with them. She treasured spending time with her daughter and grandchildren and spoke with her son-in-law every day. Twila also cherished visiting her siblings, creating memories filled with laughter and connection.
Her loving, caring, adventurous, and daring spirit touched everyone who knew her. Twila will be deeply missed, but her warmth, faith, and joyful presence will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Auburn Avenue Baptist Church, 216 E. Auburn Ave. Bellefontaine. Rev. Dr. Settle Townsend Jr. will officiate a funeral following visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
