Theresa K. "Terri" Jones

Theresa Katherine “Terri” Jones, 90, of Reynoldsburg, OH and formerly of Bellefontaine, OH passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at The Inn at Summit Trail, Reynoldsburg.

She was born in Hillsview, South Dakota on January 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Frank G. and Johanna (Goetz) Malsom.

On July 3, 1965, she married Ronald H. Jones in Minot, North Dakota and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2021. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Stephen Malsom, Theophiel “Dave” Malsom, and Joseph Malsom, and a sister, Agatha Heilman.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Karyn) Jones and Chad Jones, a grandson, Aiden Jones, a brother, Benedict Malsom, two sisters, Francis Gab and Marcella Scherr, a daughter-in-law, Amy Peak, and many nieces and nephews.

Terri worked for 40 years as a nurse technician at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine before retiring. A lifelong parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine, she attended St. Pius X Catholic Church in Reynoldsburg during her final years. She enjoyed yardwork and gardening and took pride in keeping her property neat. Terri and her husband loved traveling, especially taking cruises, and she cherished extended family vacations and time spent with her family, especially her grandson.

Father Shawn Landenwitch will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 316 E. Patterson Ave., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
