Tara Sue Johnson

Tara Sue Johnson, 63, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Kenton, Ohio on May 17, 1963, to the late Charles and Judy (Beatty) Cousineau.

She is survived by her daughter, Misty (Chad) Larson of Bellefontaine; granddaughter, Hannah (Gavin Tippie) Larson of Bellefontaine; brother, Todd (Kelly) Cousineau of Batavia; and nephew, Darryl Cousineau of Batavia.

Tara graduated from JVS in 1981. She worked for Benjamin Logan Schools as a bus driver and custodian for 20+ years. She found joy in adult coloring books, drawing, and watching her favorite 80s tv shows. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Pastor Kevin Smith will officiate a funeral service for Tara on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home, 306 N Elizabeth Street, Belle Center, Ohio 43310. Visitation will be two hours prior from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
