Steven Walden

Steven Walden, 69 years old, of Bellefontaine passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on November 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on February 8, 1956, to the late Clevon Walden Sr. and Alma Jean (Mitchell) Walden.

On February 23, 1991, Steve married Michelle (St. Pierre) Walden and she survives in Bellefontaine.

He also leaves behind his sister, Vivian (Rod) Walden-Kuna; his twin brother, Cleve (Sharon) Walden; his daughters: Evin Walden, Ciara Walden, Aja (Ryan) George, Brittney (Todd) Henry; his sons: Brandon Vermillion, Kyle Bahr; grandchildren: Dawson Mitchell, Jett Henry, Ivey George, Syan Torres, Hadassah Vermillion, Roryn Vermillion, Vanessah Vermillion, Beau Bahr, Blake Bahr, and his newest grandbaby, Monaco Cioffi.

Steve graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1975. He played sports throughout school and loved watching and going to basketball and football games. He worked at Westinghouse for many years and then at Honda for 38 years, where he then retired. Steve cared about his family more than anything in this world; he loved his children and his grandchildren and was so proud of them. He loved music - listening to music or going to concerts; he always said, “There’s a song for everything”.

Steve had the kindest smile and the best sense of humor, along with the best music taste and dance moves. Steve will be dearly missed by his family and friends he has met through school and Honda. He always made sure his children were taken care of, as he will continue to do so.

Steve’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N Main Street, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. Burial will follow the service in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
