Steven H. Austin

Steven H. Austin, 75, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at Logan Acres Senior Community in Bellefontaine.

He was born in West Frankfort, Illinois the son of the late Fred Howell and Annajane (Holloway) Austin.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen Austin; his son, Jeff (Sandy) Austin; four grandchildren: Carolina Grace, Lincoln Howell, Josiah Steven and Savannah Joy Austin; a sister, Marge (Greg) McGowan; nieces and nephews: Jeremy (Anita) McGowan, Kori McGowan, Tryg (Kristin) Koren, Tim Koren, Alison (Andrey) Fingersh, Jessica (Tom) Pickering, Jessica (Erick) Bertelsen, Meagan (Rob) Frank, Maria (Dave) Young, Kelly (Patrick) Kollmeier, Patrick, Monica, Kevin and Elizabeth Sullivan; his mother-in-law, Virginia Sullivan; brothers-in-law, Tim (Blanche) Sullivan and Mike (Ellen) Sullivan; sisters-in-law, Pat (Jim) Koren and Mary (Jim) Pulskamp and ten great nieces and nephews.

Steve was the owner of Steve Austin’s Auto Group in Bellefontaine.  He loved and served his community well.

Per Steve’s request, there are no planned services and private inurnment will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Austin family.
