Sheila Mae Pyers

Sheila (Ray) Pyers, 64, of Lakeview, passed away at 8:26 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023, at her home. She was born on April 22, 1959, in Kenton, Ohio, a daughter of Dixie Marie (Prater) Ray and the late Ralph Daniel Ray.

On February 14, 1990, Sheila married Steve Pyers in Columbus, Ohio and he survives, along with her son, Robert “Bobby” McClure; a grandson, Damen Johnson; three sisters, Penny (Larry) Roberts, Rita (William) Menshausen, and Terri (John Warwick) Reynolds; and many nieces and nephews.

A homemaker, Sheila loved going to flea markets, playing pool, and racing go-carts. She was the 2016 Stock Cart Champion.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
