Sharon Elaine Clegg, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Heritage Senior Living of Marysville. She was born in Kenton, Ohio on January 10, 1943, to the late Walter and Anna Mariam (Culp) Curler.
In 1977 she married Joseph “Joe” Clegg, and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2022.
She leaves behind her children: Michael Smith and Michelle (Tony) Thompson; stepchildren: Teresa (Mike) Crye, Anita Clegg, Matthew (Angie) Clegg, Angela (Mike) Carter, and Christina Taylor; grandchildren: Kevin, Jeremy, and Justin Thompson; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and her sister, Cynthia (Steve) Jacobs.
Sharon was a graduate of Rushsylvania High School and then went on to beauty school. She worked as a beautician for many years where she met many people. She was a member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ and had a deep love for Jesus. She had a green thumb and found much joy in gardening and caring for her plants. She will be deeply missed.
Pastor John Watkins will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, 170 Mill St. Rushsylvania, OH 43347. Visitation will be prior from 10:30 to 12:00 at the church. Burial will follow in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
