Robert Marvin Dressback

March 24, 1928 - September 27, 2011

Robert Marvin Dressback, 83, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 5:35 P.M. at his residence. He was born in Shelby County, Ohio March 24, 1928, a son of the late Bernard Arie and Amanda (Byler) Dressback. He also was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Lola May Wise and Hazel Heil and 2 brothers, Carl and Vernon “Bud” Dressback.

On January 9, 1952, in West Liberty, he married the former Freda Eloise Stuart and she preceded him in death September 19, 2009.

Survivors include daughters, Dixie Kaufman of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Dianna Dressback of DeGraff, Ohio and Debby (Kevin) Barthauer of West Liberty; a son, Danny Earle Dressback of Cable, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a lifetime farmer in Logan County and enjoyed Farmall tractors, equipment and tinkering with things.

Interment will take place at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Champaign County at a later date.

The staff of the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty assisted the family with the arrangements.
