Robert E. Devore

Robert E. Devore, 79, of Middleburg, Ohio, passed away on August 10, 2023. He was born in Marysville, Ohio on July 6, 1944, to the late Lee Robert and Alma Louise Devore.

On July 31, 1966, he married LouAnne (Harmon) Devore and she preceded him in death on November 12, 2011.

He is survived by his daughter, Jean (Camilla Aukerman) Devore of Zanesfield, Ohio; son, Rob Devore of Akron, Ohio; grandson, Alex Devore of South Dakota; best friend, Bob Wilgus; and his cat, Thomas.

An outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed cutting wood and attending camp to make maple syrup. He worked as a farmer all his life and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bellefontaine and also a member of the Hi-Point Church of Christ, Bellefontaine. Robert also served in the United States National Guard.

Pastor John James will officiate a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Middleburg Cemetery.
