Peggy L. Millington, 76, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday morning, January 18, 2026, at Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Peggy was born in Bellefontaine on June 18, 1949, to the late Charles W. and Ruth J. (Young) Grant. She married Harry E. Millington on August 31, 1985, and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2025. Peggy was also preceded in death by a grandchild, sister Barbara W. Walker, and 4 brothers: Robert R. Grant, Jerry Grant, Jaime Grant, and Raymond Grant.
Peggy is survived by children: Kellie (Stephen) Berry of Sidney, Brian (Mindy) Latimer of Willow Springs, North Carolina, and Dana Bright of Bellefontaine; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister Karen (Don) Trosper of Indiana; a brother Jeff (Millie) Grant of Belle Center; and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy provided daycare to children for many years and loved being around them. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, reading, singing, and working on puzzles. She collected porcelain dolls and antiques. Peggy loved her family and valued the time spent at holiday meals and get-togethers. In her younger years, she enjoyed tap dancing.
Chaplain Mike Porter will officiate Peggy’s celebration of life service on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 1pm at Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Following the service, she will be buried beside Harry at Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
