He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde James O'Neil; his mother, Doris Eileen Webber O'Neil; and his brother, Christopher Eugene O'Neil.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Patsy A. O'Neil, whom he met while they were high school students. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and service to God.
He is also survived by his children: Patience (Justin) Green, Ryan (Melissa) O'Neil, Sean (DaLaura) O'Neil, Charity (Harry) Mathis, and Faith (Scott) Williams.
Paul was a proud grandfather to Paige (Bryce) O'Neil-Tester, Alyssa O'Neil, Ryan (Qi) O'Neil II,

He is also survived by his brothers, Clyde Richard "Dick" (Marsha) O'Neil and Gary (Kathy) O'Neil, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, church family, and friends.
Paul grew up in Logan County, Ohio, and graduated from Logan Hills High School in Zanesfield, Ohio. He was known throughout his life for his strong work ethic, steadfast faith, and devotion to his family.
During his working years, Paul was employed by Grimes and International Harvester. While he valued his work, his greatest calling was serving the Lord. Answering God's call on his life, Paul faithfully served as an evangelist, pastor, and missionary. Throughout his ministry, he shared the Gospel both at home and abroad, serving on missionary journeys to Poland, the Philippines, India, Africa, Grand Cayman, Honduras, Mexico, and Guatemala. His passion for spreading God's Word and helping others know Christ touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on communities worldwide.
Paul was a member of the Church of God at Chase in Huntsville, Alabama, and was formerly a faithful member of Mt. Tabor Church of God in DeGraff, Ohio. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he sought to live each day as an example of God's love, grace, and mercy.
Beyond his ministry, Paul enjoyed many simple pleasures. He loved tending to his garden, working on vehicles, and woodworking. He found satisfaction in fixing and building things. He was also an avid beagle lover and treasured the companionship of his faithful pets, Rocky, Beauregard I, and Beauregard II.
Those who knew Paul will also remember his sense of humor. Family members often heard him quote his favorite saying from the Hank the Cow Dog books: "Oh, my leg hurts," a phrase that never failed to bring smiles and laughter to those around him.
Above all else, Paul loved his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather. His family will remember him as a man of unwavering faith, integrity, kindness, and unconditional love.
Though his earthly journey has ended, the legacy of faith, service, and love that Paul leaves behind will continue through the generations of family, friends, and believers whose lives he touched.
