Patrick “Pat” C. Trimble, 82, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his residence on Thursday, January 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 13, 1943, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, Patrick lived a life rich in experiences, driven by his passion for nature, family, and service.
Pat devoted over three decades of his life to owning and managing a chiropractic and massage therapy office in Coalton, Ohio. Born and raised on the farm, he farmed most of his adult life in southern Ohio. With the help of many family members, he ended his farming years growing and selling Christmas trees. His snowy white beard and hair led the kids to believe “Santa” helped them find their tree.
A lover of the great outdoors, Pat was particularly passionate about his role as a conservationist. He took immense pride in farming sustainably and actively supported efforts to preserve the land, reflecting his deep respect for nature. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews on “the farm”, teaching them all he knew about the outdoors.
Pat was a lifelong learner who pursued college classes right up to a few years ago. A proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served as a war photographer during the Vietnam War.
Patrick was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancye (Bare) Shepard Trimble in 2009; his parents, Reba and Buell Trimble; his sisters, Audrey (Joe) Weber and Barbara Trimble; and his brothers, Willis (Nancy), Roger (Paula), and H. Glen Trimble.

He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Arianna Smith, Theodore, Isabella, and Jeremiah Bosneag. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous special nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
