Norma Jean Hill, 71, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in The Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing Senior Living Community, Dublin.

She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on January 20, 1955, the daughter of the late Emil J. and Virginia May (Mowrey) Hoffman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James F. Hill, Sonny Nevers, and Norman Nevers.

She is survived by a sister, Sharon Alexander, and a brother, Daniel Wilbur Nevers, both of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Norma was a 1973 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and had worked as a pharmaceutical technician for Rite Aid in Bellefontaine. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church, Bellefontaine and enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, and watching gameshows on television. She was a lover of dogs and volunteered her time at the former Top of Ohio Animal Shelter, Bellefontaine.

There will be a private burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery at a later date.
