Minnie May Young

Minnie May Young, 98, of Jackson Center, passed away Sunday evening, December 4, 2022, at her home. 

Minnie was born in Shelby County on August 30, 1924, to the late Rodney and Cora (Rhodehamel) Schloss.  She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Minnie is survived by her husband Alvin Young, whom she married in 1953.   She is also survived by children:  James (Susan) Lyme of Jackson Center, Barbara J. (Charlie) Herring of Lewistown, Robert (Teresa) Lyme of Jackson Center, and Patricia (Jeffery) McKinnon of Jackson Center; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Minnie was a homemaker and enjoyed working math problems, and reading – especially her Bible.

There will be no services at this time for Minnie.   She will be interred in Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, at a later date.
