Michael Curtis "Mike" Adkins

Michael Curtis “Mike” Adkins, 70, of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at his home.

Mike was born in Delaware, Ohio, on January 12, 1955, to his late father Cecil Curtis Adkins and his late mother Relna Lucille (Clay) Main.

Mike is survived by his significant other, Frances Hoatland of Bellefontaine; daughter Ashley (Robert) Vallejo of Dayton; 3 grandchildren: Kale, Averie, and Levi Vallejo; 3 sisters: Sheryl Quinn of Houston, Texas, Debbie (Daryl) Bell of Delaware, Ohio, and Pamela LaTour of Columbus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Bill Hoatland of Urbana; and his furry buddy, Jake.

Mike worked as a drywaller and painter for many years. He was an avid fan of Ohio State football and enjoyed fishing.

The family will have a private celebration of Mike’s life at a later date.
