Matthew James Armstrong

Matthew James Armstrong, 46, of Alger passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born in Marion, Ohio on September 20, 1979, to Deana (Swisher) Armstrong and the late Jonathan R. Armstrong. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Mark Armstrong.

Along with his mother, Deana he is survived by his significant other, Kimberly Haude; daughter, Kiylee Haude; brother, Ryan Armstrong; sister, Katlynn (Scott) Gatchel; mother-in-law, Denise Copas; nieces and nephews: KaiLea, Aleah, Wyatt, Sydney, Ryann, Mikayla, Madison, Macey, Laythyn, and Kobie.

Matthew was a 1997 graduate of Indian Lake High School and received his associate degree in Computer-Aided Design from ITT Technical Institute in Dayton. He enjoyed building things, hiking, and snowmobiling. His daughter Kiylee was his pride and joy, he was so proud of her and loved watching her in wrestling and softball.

There will be no public services at this time.
