Mary June Buell

Mary June "Dutch" Buell, 81, of Bellefontaine, Ohio and formerly of Webberville, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at her daughter's residence.

Dutch was born in Brighton, Michigan on April 7, 1945, the daughter of the late William H. and Mary Ellen (Pickard) Buell. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Buell and a sister, Sharon Buell.

She is survived by four daughters, Dawn (James) Gamble-Goetschy, Joy (Rick) Hull, Kari (John) Pietrzyk, and Merry (Terry) Atherton, nine grandchildren, Stephanie, Danielle, Cassandra, Samantha, Cori, JJ, Aaron, Dylan, and Christopher, and seven great grandchildren, Jacob, Laiklyn, Gavin, Kendall, Abby, Kaci, and Payton, two brothers, Mark (Beverly) Buell and Gary (Nancy) Buell, and many nieces and nephews.

She worked as a beautician for more than 35 years in Michigan, including Highland, Lansing, and Williamston. She loved to play BINGO and also enjoyed bowling, fishing, crocheting, and she was an avid reader. She also found joy in taking care of her garden and for many years, she canned her fruits and vegetables. She loved nature, and spent a lot of time watching deer, squirrels, birds and whatever creature might walk across the property. She was a very giving soul and loved spending time with her family.
