Martha Heizer

Martha E. Heizer, 83, of Reynoldsburg and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH.

She was born on September 23, 1931 in Union County, Ohio the daughter of the late Clyde and Lena (Hines) Fields.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Manly Heizer who died October 18, 2011, their son, David M. Heizer and a sister, Eloise Dowell.

Surviving is a daughter, Deborah (William) Teeters of Blacklick, OH; a son, James R. (Jenny) Heizer of Reynoldsburg; a sister, Rebecca (Sonny) Martindale of Kenton; 4 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Martha worked at Westinghouse in Bellefontaine for 25 years. She was a member of the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church and loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids. She loved shopping and her dog, P.J.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2014 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
