Martha Ann Grinestaff

Martha Grinestaff, 90, of St. Paris and formerly of Lakeview, passed away at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 3, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio, a daughter of the late Julius Morgen and Gertrude (Scanlan) Morgen Staas. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Grinestaff; stepfather, Elmer Staas; a stepson, Terry; a stepsister, Jane Cooper; and two nieces, Deborah Cooper, and Karen Fleck.

Martha is survived by her niece, Kathy (Jeff Frey) Odegaard; and a nephew, Jeff (Terry) Cooper; a stepdaughter, Nina; six great nieces and nephews; and nine great great nieces and nephews.

Martha retired from Ohio Bell in 1983, where she had worked as an operator. She was a practicing Catholic and former member of Toledo Telephone Pioneers.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
