Marlene C. McKee, 80, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Otterbein Green Hills Senior Life Community in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born on March 23, 1945, a daughter to the late George and Edna (Steinke) Manger.
On December 28, 1968, she married Robert H. “Bob” McKee, and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2013. She is also preceded in death by her brothers: Eugene Manger and LeRoy Manger; and her sisters: Juanita Tripp, Mary Ann (Bill) Schmidt, and Constance Butcher.
She leaves behind her son, Jason (Melissa) McKee, grandchild, Gracie McKee; brother, Ronald (Monica) Manger; sisters-in-law: Ronda and Gloria Manger; brothers-in-law: Jessie Tripp and Donald Butcher; and many nieces and nephews.
Marlene was a member of the Bellefontaine First United Methodist Church and worked as an LPN for 48 years. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
Pastor Joe Ziraldo will officiate a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Burial will be at a later date in Union Grove Cemetery in Gambier, Ohio.
