Mark A. Jackson

Mark A. Jackson, 64, formerly of Belle Center, passed away Monday morning, October 5, 2026, at Monarch Skilled Nursing in Marysville, Ohio.

Mark was born in Urbana, Ohio, on March 19, 1962, to the late Ronald E. and Joyce Ann (Salyer) Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his favorite niece, Ty Lyn Ferguson.

Mark is survived by his sister Tina Ferguson of Bellefontaine.

Mark worked at RTC for many years. He enjoyed watching TV, listening to music, and spending time with his niece – they were two peas in a pod. A connoisseur of fine food, Mark loved his cheeseburgers, hot dogs and pizzas. He was a loner but had a small group of friends. They enjoyed going to local football games and watching the cheerleaders. Mark was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, and would get mad when his sister would cheer for Cleveland – Mark did not like the Browns!

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date.
