Marigold Hope King

Marigold Hope King, 13, of Washington Court House, went into the loving arms of Jesus on July 26, 2022.

Marigold was born on September 3, 2008, in Odessa, Ukraine, and abandoned at birth due to her disabilities.  At the age of 7, she was adopted by her daddy and mommy, Scott and Esther King, and brought to America where she became part of a family with 10 siblings. 

Although her profound disabilities prevented her from living a normal life, she lived a life full of joy and happiness at the simplest of things.  Marigold always shared a smile and was content no matter the circumstances.

In addition to her parents, Marigold is survived by her 10 siblings, her paternal grandparents Darrel and Sara King of West Liberty, her maternal grandparents Rick and Deborah Cole of West Liberty, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will have a private graveside service for Marigold at Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
