Marie Darlene Hubbard

Marie Darlene Hubbard, 58, of Sidney, passed away at 2:10 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio. She was born in Pineville, Kentucky on May 1, 1968, to the late Forster and Arecia Marie (North) Murphy.

On July 7, 1986, Marie married Rick L. Hubbard and he survives.

She is also survived by her son, Dwayne (Amber Atkison) Hubbard; grandchildren, Dwayne Hubbard Jr., Angel Hubbard, Dominic Hubbard, Gunner Hubbard, Oaklee Hubbard, and Abbiegale Atkison; great-grandson, Indigo Michael Holman; sister, Patricia Jaeger; and niece and nephews, Shelley Gudger, James Gudger, and David Gudger.

Along with her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her sister, Dottie Faye Murphy, and brother, Forster D. Murphy.

Marie enjoyed mushroom hunting, cooking dinners for her family, and attending car shows. She loved listening to church hymns, and reading her Bible. Marie liked to shop at thrift stores and collect trinkets. Above all, she treasured the time she spent at home with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson.

There are no services planned at this time and a private burial will be held by the family.
