Justin David Vogel, 36, of Westerville, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 20th, 2026.

Justin is survived by his son, Logan Lee Vogel of Newark, his mother, Julie (Jeff) Clem of Indianapolis and Bellefontaine, his father Jeff (Teresa) Vogel of Tucson, Arizona and Bellefontaine, sister, Jessica Vogel of Sunbury, brother, Jacob Miller of Marysville, sister, Jordan (Chaz) Martin of Delaware, his grandmothers, Valerie (John) Kidd of Waynesville, Karen (Jim Hanger) Medaris of Fort Myers, Florida and Bellefontaine, Kay (C. David) Vogel of Marion, uncle, Jason (Ann) Vogel of West Liberty, aunt, Erika (Colby) Furlong of Troy, his uncles, Ernest (Vicki) West of Pataskala, Eric Justin of Waynesville Josh (Tress) West of Pataskala, Jonah (Melinda) West of Arizona and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather C. David Vogel.

Justin was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 20, 1989. He grew up in Westerville Ohio where he graduated from Westerville North High School in 2008. Justin had the most beautiful kaleidoscope eyes that lit up the room and the kindest soul that warmed the room. He was both quietly witty and overtly hysterical. Justin was a talented and meticulous craftsman. Justin was a talented artist and loved to play and listen to music. He loved his family deeply, giving out the best hugs and smiles. Justin loved home cooking, especially his mom and Aunts. Most of all he loved his son Logan. Sharing his time with Logan and their love of fishing, Legos, rock collecting and searching for arrowheads were his happiest times. Justin will be forever missed by his family and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Eichholtz and Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine, Ohio, 43311. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:30pm with the service beginning at 2:30pm.
