Judy E. Gamble

February 5, 1945 — March 15, 2026

Bellefontaine

Judith Elaine Gamble, age 81, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, following a recent health event. She was born on February 5, 1945, in Lima, Ohio to the late Don Franklin and Mildred Irene (Kline) Snyder. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bob" Snyder; sister-in-law, Carole Snyder; and her brother-in-law, Pete Buckner.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her sons, Travis W. (Jennifer) Gamble and Chad A. (Myra) Gamble; her daughter, Amanda M. (Tom) Eley; and her cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah, Noah, Georgia, Roman, Avery, Blake, and Claire. She is also survived by her sisters, Sharon Riffle, Karen Buckner, and Michele (Ted) Foster, along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many close friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Judy was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a natural gift for making people laugh and bringing joy wherever she went. Whether it was a funny observation, or just her playful personality, she had a way of lifting spirits and brightening any room. Her warmth made people feel instantly at ease, and when she was speaking with you, she gave you her full attention – making everyone feel truly seen. Judy loved giving gifts, whether it was her time, a present, or a timely card she was always finding ways to show she cared.

She dedicated many years of her life to serving the community through her work at Logan County Job and Family Services and United Way. She found joy in thrifting, antique shopping, going to auctions and found delight in the treasures she discovered. She had a special affection for animals, particularly dogs, and she especially enjoyed pet sitting for family and friends and never passed up a chance to care for their pets.

She will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her faith was at the heart of who she was. Judy loved the Lord with all her heart, and in Jesus she found comfort, strength, and purpose throughout her life.
