Joseph James Daniels

Joseph "Joe" James Daniels, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

He was born in Bellefontaine on January 14, 1954, to the late Jesse James and Martha (Frederick) Daniels. He was raised alongside his four siblings: Vicki, Chris, Lisa and Jim.

On February 11, 1976, he married the former Mary Jo Elliott, and she survives in Bellefontaine.

Other survivors include his children: Elijah (Christine) Daniels and Morgan (Jim Martino) Daniels; and his grandchildren: Connor (Sam Powers) Daniels, Dillon Brown and Madilyn Moorman.

Joe cherished the beautiful life he and Mary Jo built together. He loved nothing more than riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
