Joletta "Jodi" Dawn Rumer

Joletta “Jodi” Dawn Rumer, 62, passed away in the early morning hours of August 13th, 2026, surrounded by her mother and children.

Jodi was an intricate part of her family and a presence that could never be overlooked or replaced. She was always early, always ready with her infectious laugh, and always had a hug waiting for the people she loved.

Jodi was a dedicated and loving mother, Mimi, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved deeply and fiercely, and those fortunate enough to know her were blessed with someone who would always be in their corner. If Jodi was in your corner, you had nothing to worry about—because she would have you, no matter what. 

Jodi was a proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and a passionate human rights advocate. She stood up for equality, acceptance, and the dignity of every person, and she was never afraid to speak her mind or fight for what she believed was right. 

Jodi is survived by her daughter, Mandi Wrasman; son, Justin Wrasman (Phil Seay) ; grandchildren, Braya and Ace. Mother, Judy Taylor (Bruce Taylor) also siblings, extended family and countless people that loved her. 

Jodi’s love for her dog Brewster was something truly special. He was her baby, her pretty boy, and always there by her side. 

Jodi had a strength about her that was uniquely her own. She faced life on her own terms, loved her people wholeheartedly, and never hesitated to stand up for those she cared about. 

Jodi was deeply loved, fiercely protective, and truly one of a kind.

She will be missed beyond words. 

A celebration of life will be organized at a later date.
