John L "Sully" Sullivan

John L "Sully" Sullivan, 68, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, while camping in Henderson, Kentucky. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana on July 2, 1957, to the late Donald David and Juanita Alfreda (White) Sullivan.

Sully is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Charles Michael) Gerritsen; son, Adam Sullivan; grandson, Charles Jasper Gerritsen; and life partner, Susan Tieken.

Along with his parents, Sully was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan Hopkins.

Sully concluded a distinguished career spanning 44 years as a truck driver, covering over 4 million miles. He was an active member of several organizations, including the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, American Legion, Fraternal Order of Owls, Forty and Eight, VFW, and AMVETS. Sully will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

There will be no services at this time.
