John P. Bushong

John P. Bushong, 73, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Marion County Ohio July 29, 1948, a son of the late William Arthur and Elizabeth Irene (Zeigler) Bushong.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Becky Bushong.

He is survived by his children: John Bryan Bushong and Terry Lynn Bushong; several grandchildren; a sister, Judy (Jack Fravel) Leist; two brothers, Gerald “Jerry” Bushong and Jim Bushong and his nieces and nephews: Gail, Andy, Jeff, Tim, Bill and Jim.

John graduated from North Union High School and worked as an electrician in Union County before his retirement.  He enjoyed camping, watching movies and was a firearm enthusiast.

There are no planned services for John at this time.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Bushong family.
