Biography

John A. “Jack” Beckingham, 74, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at his residence Monday, February 24, 2014.

He was born December 30, 1939, in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan to the late Albert George and Loreta (Houser) Beckingham. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Jean Brook.

Jack is survived by a son, John A. (Sharyel) Beckingham of Fort Myers, Florida; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and a sister, Jean (Charles) Polk of Waterford, Michigan.

A truck driver, Jack enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

An 11:30 A.M. graveside service will be held at the Harrod Cemetery Saturday, March 1, 2014, with Pastor Kenn Barton officiating.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
