Jeff D. Hunt

Jeff D. Hunt, 69, of Pleasant Hill, and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away at 12:11 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on December 12, 1956, to the late Jack and E. Fern (Cox) Hunt.

On June 6, 1976, he married Cindy (Morris) Hunt and she survives.

Jeff is also survived by his sons, Jeremiah (Tracy) Hunt, and Jason (Tara) Hunt; grandchildren, Kylie (Doug) McCall, Amanda (Dakota) Hines, Tristen Benedict, Seth Hunt, Tori Benedict, and Asia Benedict; great-grandchildren, Alexis Salm-Lee, Makayla McCall, Kayden Hines, Amen Hines, Azariah Hines, and Harlee McCall; sister, Diana Jones; and nieces and nephews, Justin, Ben, Kelley, Timothy, Candice, and Zach.

Along with is parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Hunt.

Jeff worked alongside his father at Hunt Electric for 15 years before spending 20 years with Fox Cleaners in Dayton, retiring in 2019. He was a member of Troy Fish and Game and enjoyed visiting coffee shops, reading, listening to music, and playing guitar. Jeff cherished time with his family, bike rides, and quiet evenings in his rocker on the back porch. He also devoted time to studying his Bible and was a proud patriot who loved his country.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in Bellefontaine Cemetery, with Jeff’s brother-in-law, Robert Morris, officiating.
