Jean Anne Thompson

Jean Anne Thompson, 97, formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on May 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Emmett J. and Doris Margaret (Fulton) Hullinger.

On December 25, 1948, she married Albert John Thompson in Urbana, Ohio and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2002. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Robert Patrick Thompson in 1956, three brothers, Jack Hullinger, Robert E. Hullinger, and James A. Hullinger, and a sister, Mary Ellen Server.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Steven) Davis of Maineville, Ohio, Becky Jo (Robert S.) Dinovo, a son, James A. (Sara) Thompson of Urbana, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, including Betsy Server of Zanesfield, OH.

Jean worked as a homemaker, caring for her husband and children. She loved her dogs, watching birds and feeding the deer. She valued most the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren in her later years.

There are no planned public services.
