James Gammell

Biography

James Steven Gammell, 60, of North Lewisburg, passed away Saturday July 2, 2016, at his brothers’ residence in Bellefontaine.

He was born in Bellefontaine to the late Robert L. and Vera (Downing) Gammell also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Miller, Linda Smith, Sandra Gammell, Joyce Gammell and Marsha Gammell; brothers, Robert Gammell, Harold Gammell and John Gammell.

Surviving is his wife Charlene (Miller) Gammell whom he married on March 29, 2013 Also surviving his children, Amber Moon, Alicia Gammell, Ashley Gammell and Kathyrn Gammell grandchildren: Ethan, Addison, Landon and Logan Gammell; step-children, Erica Thompson and Adam Helton, step grandchildren: Brittany Costa, Sierra Costa, Hannah Longberry, Jenna Longberry, Kaylyn Boldman, Zepplin Helton, Draken Helton, James Anderson: step-great grandchildren, Bentley Hatmaker, Leon McClintock and Aiden Friend; and brothers, David (Wilma) Gammell and Michael (Margaret) Gammell.

James enjoyed collecting guns and knives and fishing at Indian Lake

A family memorial service will be held at later date.
