Herdien H. Ritch

Herdien H. Ritch, 87, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday morning, January 27, 2024, at Logan Acres Care Center.

Herdien was born in Gresik, Indonesia, on May 1, 1936, to the late Partodiwiryo and Sri Hadiyah (Mintarso) Kuswadji.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Patrick S. Ritch.

Herdien is survived by her son, Patrick S. (Sarah) Ritch, Jr. of Worthington; 3 grandchildren:  Grayson D. (Marianne) Ritch, Landon B. Ritch, and Logan E. Ritch; and a great-grandson Drixton B. Stem.

Herdien was a university graduate and worked as a civil engineer in Indonesia, before coming to the United States.  She enjoyed her flower gardens and was a member of the Hilliker YMCA in Bellefontaine.  Herdien was a former member of the International Friendship Center.

A celebration of Herdien’s life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 1-3pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine.
