Gregory Smith
Gregory A. Smith, 50, of DeGraff, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, January 20, 2013 at his home after passing away unexpectedly.
He was born September 4, 1962 in Wilmington, Ohio, a son of the late Thomas and Sharon (Thompson) Smith.
On May 12, 1990 in New Carlisle, Ohio, he married the former Ann Neigel and she survives along with their daughters, Abigail and Kayla Smith, both at home; a brother, David (Thora) Smith; father and mother-in-law, Chuck and Linda Neigel of New Carlisle; a brother-in-law, Jeff Neigel of Canton, Illinois; three nieces and one nephew.
He was employed at Honda of America in Anna, Ohio for twenty three years.
He enjoyed working with stained glass, gardening, fishing, watching The Big Bang Theory and especially the time spent with Abigail and Kayla. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Pastor Walt Mansfield will officiate a memorial service Friday, January 25, 2013 at 7 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 5 to 7 P.M. prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with his daughters’ college education.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
