Ellen Louise Cox

Ellen Louise Cox, age 78, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 11:41 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Mary Rutan Hospital E.R. in Bellefonrtaine.

She was born in Hardin County Ohio September 15, 1943, a daughter of the late Harry and Yvonne (Skidmore) Anderson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Twila Jones.

On June 6, 1969, she married Larry E. Cox in Bellefontaine and he survives.

She is also survived by three sons: Jeff Cox, Eric Cox, and Matt Cox; four grandchildren: Andy Cox, Jessica Allen, Devin Allen, and Alex Pulfer; a brother, Eddie Anderson and a sister, Susan Pleasant and several nieces and nephews.

Ellen worked as a beautician in Bellefontaine beginning in the 1960’s. She and her husband enjoyed horses and attended many horse shows and events throughout the years.

There will be a private burial at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center, Ohio.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Cox family.
