Dolly June Lorenz, 82, formerly of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at her granddaughter’s home in Belle Center, Ohio. She was born in Mingo County, West Virginia, on March 9, 1943, to the late Edward and Ella (Mills) White. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Ralph Lorenz.
She is survived by her son, Clyde (Kim) White; grandchildren: Mindy (David) Baker, Holley (Bryan) Preston, Madonna White, and Jason White; daughter-in-law, Teresa Lorenz; and numerous great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
Dolly worked as a solderer and a waitress for many years before retiring. After retirement, she volunteered at Bishop Griffin Resource Center in Columbus. She enjoyed smoking her cigarettes, drinking her coffee, being with family and playing solitaire and rummy. Her greatest joy in life came from her grandchildren. She loved to support and spend time with them any chance she had.
There will be services planned for Dolly in West Virginia where she will be laid to rest.
