Dennis James Jenkins

Dennis James Jenkins, 60, of Bellefontaine, died Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Mary Rutan Hospital after a long illness and stay in a nursing home.

He was born Oct. 1, 1957, a son of the late Harold “Scoop” Jenkins and Barb Jenkins, who survives in Bellefontaine.

A 1976 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, he also is survived by a son, Brennon (Jessica) Jenkins of Bellefontaine; daughters, Nicole (Jacob Harshbarger) Jenkins of DeGraff and Jessica (Brian) Leffel of Sidney; sister, Lori (Dennis) Scott of Franklin, Tenn.; and brother, Bill Jenkins of Bellefontaine.

A celebration of life is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Harold Kerr American Legion Post 173, 120 Colton Ave. All friends and family are welcome.
