David Beaty

David L. Beaty, age 70, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014.

He was born November 25, 1943 in Bellefontaine, a son of the late Dean M. and Helen G. (Steig) Beaty.

On December 22, 1967 in Bellefontaine, he married the former Vikki Lakin and she survives along with sons, Brad Beaty of Great Falls, Montana and Damon Beaty of Lima, Ohio; a grandchild, Taggart Beaty; brothers, Larry K. Beaty of Marietta, Georgia and Roger L. (Arlene) Beaty of Bellefontaine.

David was a 1962 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and a Veteran of the United States Navy having served in Viet Nam. A finish carpenter, he retired in 2002 and enjoyed working on drag cars and also with computers.

Pastor Chuck Temple will conduct a memorial service Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1 P.M. at the Vineyard Christian Church, where friends may call one hour prior to the memorial service.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
