Chad L. Burris

Chad L. Burris, 50, of Russells Point, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026, at his home.

Chad was born in Napoleon, Ohio, on May 3, 1976, to Charles Leroy Burris and Donna (Dickman) White. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Burris, sister Kimberly Burris, and brother Rick Burris.

Chad is survived by his significant partner Diana Hamilton; his wife Kimberly Anne Burris, and her partner, Chad’s special brother / best friend, Bernard Nenstiel, all of Russells Point; 2 children: Jessica (Wade) Nugent of Sugardale, Ohio, and Colton Burris of Russells Point; 2 grandchildren: Amaya and Joey Nugent; his mother and step-father Donna and Michael White of Bellefontaine; sisters: Julie (Todd) Wenzel of West Mansfield, Debbie Burris of South Carolina, Jennifer Burris of Illinois; brother Tim (Angie) Knapp of DeGraff; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special extended family Shandra Young, Skyluar Moore, and Skyler Stoneburner.

Chad worked many years as general labor and truly enjoyed his time as a truck driver. Chad was so full of life. He always had a smile for everyone. Chad loved his children more than anything. He was a huge Cleveland Browns fan. His family and friends meant everything to him. Chad enjoyed fishing, boating, playing his drums, and traveling. He absolutely loved the 4th of July.

Chad’s family will be having a celebration of his life at a later date.
