Bonnie L. Jenkins

Bonnie L. Jenkins, 79, of Bellefontaine, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 3:44 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on May 25, 1946, to the late James and Mattie (Brake) Preston.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Janet (Gordon) Simmons of Carmi, Illinois; grandchildren, Tammi (Joe) Oberleader of Crossville, Illinois, Ashley (Matt) May of Fairfield, Illinois, and Dillon Graham and Jason Graham, both of Carmi, Illinois; twin sister, Connie (Roger) Stover-Davis of Belle Center; nieces and nephew, Hans Rose, and Kaye Rose of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Becky Epley of Sidney.

Along with her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister, Ella Rose.

Bonnie was a member of the New Richland Baptist Church and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pastor Steve Smith with officiate a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026, in McGraw Cemetery in Richland Township.
