Bonnie Lou Horsley

Bonnie Lou Horsley, 69, of Bellefontaine passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, September 14, 2026. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on June 4, 1957, to the late Paul Edwin and Vivian (Knox) Boysel. She is also preceded in death by her son, Dale “Mike” Johnson; siblings: Shelby Sheeley, Paula Green, Melody Boysel, Paul Boysel Jr., Alva “Jerry” Stegal, and Don L. Boysel.

She is survived by her daughters: Tracy Johnson of Bellefontaine, Vanessa (Jamey) Rollins of Bellefontaine, and Mindy Johnson of Bellefontaine; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, including special granddaughters: Mercedes and Whitney Boggs; siblings: Diana Bailey, Marsha Stover, Penny Costello, Vicki Baker, Art Boysel, James Boysel, and Don “Tucker” Boysel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonnie found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether she was tending to her garden, hunting for hidden treasures while thrifting, creating beautiful, handcrafted pieces, or sharing laughs with loved ones over her favorite board games.

Her wish was to be cremated and there will be no services.
